Lodging
Several hotels near the Church of the Transfiguration have block rates for participants. These rates expire anywhere from early September to early November, depending on the hotel, so please book your accommodations early to ensure the discounted rate.

Transportation

Airport: Participants are strongly encouraged to carpool and rent cars from the airport. Taxi services will likely not be as cost effective due to distance from local airports. Estimated taxi fare: $75 each way. Uber, a smartphone app for requesting rides from local drivers who use their personal cars, might be a good option as well. Estimated Uber fare: $22-28 each way (though may vary depending on time of day and demand).

Hotels & Conference Site: The four conference hotel options are located near each other, but not within a convenient walking distance of the Church of the Transfiguration (conference site). Participants are 100% responsible for arranging their own travel, however for the community’s convenience, Forward Movement has set up two Google Docs for participants to connect and arrange ride sharing.
